We size gazebo simulation, where we are able to develop custom add-ins (plugins) to test specific behaviours. Simulation is a solution to provide a low cost, easily accessible environment for the development of robots.

  • Professor. Nico Avdelidis – Chief Operations Officer

    Pr. Nico’s expertise and extensive professional and academic aptitude extends to research areas such as Non-Destructive Testing – NDT imaging techniques for various applications, Robotics NDT and UAV inspections, Autonomous systems sensing and imaging, and aerospace materials and structures. He has also, through his work, attracted substantial research funding (has been managing a growing and vibrant research portfolio, being the coordinator and/or principal investigator of more than 20 projects and managing more than 30 projects). Nico has developed research collaboration with institutions from the UK – Europe and Canada (incl. the National Research Council of Canada).

  • Angeles Plastropoulos – Robotics System Manager

    Angelos oversees software development for the company’s project portfolio including autonomous vehicles, climbers and exoskeletons. Programming in ROS, Robotic Operating System, (behaviours, hardware interfaces, system bridges) and design simulations in Gazebo (custom plugins). Primarily use python and C/C++. Embedded programming for Arduino micro-controllers (ARM Cortex M0 and M3). He also Participates design meetings to define the specifications of the platforms and get involved with the system architecture that needs to be implemented.
